The Makers Market returns to take over Stretford town centre on Sunday 3rd May, 11-4pm. Head over for a day filled with local traders, entertainment and community atmosphere.
The Stretfest | Saturday 28th March 10am - 7pm
The Stretfest returns to take over the town on Saturday 28th March and we will be right in the thick of it, with local food, independent businesses, good tunes, entertainment and plenty of seating - the perfect spot at the epicentre of the festival to grab a bite, meet your mates, entertain the little ones and soak up the festival vibes.
Here's a little taster of what we have in store for the day:
- 10am till 4pm - Stretford’s very first Makers Market will be taking over the high street
- 10am till 4pm - Free kids crafts in Unit 100 (opposite Greggs).
- 12pm till 6pm - A whole host of street food traders serving up the goods.
- 2pm till 7pm - The Playhouse Project and The Dance Project will be bringing the party - bog and little ravers welcome

Next up in Stretford's Unofficial Museum we have an exhibition all about the M60, and how it impacts our local communities. At its heart, this exhibition invites people to pause and reconsider the urban spaces they usually move through without a second thought.
Stretford Mall by Nite | The Unofficial Museum | 6-12th April
This exhibition looks back at Nite School's absolutely iconic era 2025 the mall - the nights that turned a closed down pawnbrokers into a dancefloor and injected new levels into Stretford’s nightlife. And that’s including the legendary Boots rave with Bicep.
