Over Easter weekend we will be hosting our next community commission at the Unofficial Museum: What Wide Sea Brought Me Here ⛵
Local pop-up bar and events specialists Rainy Heart are opening a brand new Hi-Fi bottle shop, pop-up-bar and event space in Stretford town centre this Friday 3rd October 2025. Located on the newly-restored King Street, the new grassroots arts venue will offer a vibrant space for artistic events, activities and platforming the local talent and voices of the Stretford community.
Run by the Stretford-founded party starters behind ‘A Repeat Prescription’ and other successful late-night events, visitors to Rainy Heart’s brand new venture can expect:
Putting the creative thoughts and voices of the Stretford community at its forefront, the team at Rainy Heart are looking for people to share their ideas for events, social nights and shows to come to the space for free.
The new pop-up venue will form part of a series of activities and events coming to King Street, designed to bring the community together and create opportunities for exploring the town’s new civic space through culture, play and connection.

The Stretfest returns to take over the town on Saturday 28th March and we will be right in the thick of it, with local food, independent businesses, good tunes, entertainment and plenty of seating - the perfect spot at the epicentre of the festival to grab a bite, meet your mates, entertain the little ones and soak up the festival vibes.
