Stretford town centre has announced a wave of national and local independent retailers set to join the regenerated town centre over the next three months.
Car park update
Now that the MSCP is back open, and to support Aldi long-term, we’re carrying out surface car park reconfiguration works from Monday 19 January for around 12 weeks.
The works will happen in three clear phases listed below, with access to both car parks maintained throughout. Some routes will change along the way, but signage will be in place to guide you.
Thanks for bearing with us while we make these improvements, we’ll keep sharing updates as the works progress.
Phase 1 (weeks 1–5) 🚶 Pedestrians: use the Kingsway footpath
🚗 Drivers: enter via main Kingsway entrance or the new multistory car park entrance
⬅️ All exits via the new multistory car park exit only
Phase 2 (weeks 6–9)
🚶 Pedestrian access reopens at Barton Road / Kingsway
🚗 Drivers: enter via main Kingsway entrance or the new multistory car park entrance
⬅️ Exit remains via the new multistory car park exit only
Phase 3 (weeks 10–12)
🚶 All pedestrian routes open
🚗 Drivers: enter via main Kingsway entrance or the new multistory car park entrance
⬅️ Exit via main Kingsway exit or the new multistory car park exit
ℹ️ No through-route between the main car park and the new multistory car park entrance

Yes. Disabled parking bays will remain available throughout, located outside the former Costa unit next to Aldi.
