Ways Of Seeing | A Living Archive Of Expression & Wellbeing | 29th-31st August | The Unofficial Stretford Museum
Join artist Wingyu Yeung at The Unofficial Stretford Museum for Ways of Seeing, a free community art project.
Join us for this month's Stretford Socials on Saturday 6th April, where we're focusing on sustainability. We firmly believe that sustainability starts right at home, beginning with shopping and playing locally.
This month, ditch the car and opt for a walk or cycle to the town centre, where you can explore the offerings of our local traders. Dive into the world of eco-conscious crafting with our 'Stretford Soaring Skies' kite making workshop, led by Artventurers. Utilising entirely recycled materials, it's an opportunity to get creative while reducing waste.
But that's not all – our development team will also be present at the socials, eager to speak with the community. Pop over to the new development corner (by the Chester Road entrance) for a chat about all the hard work going on behind the scenes to rejuvenate King Street, aiming to restore it as the vibrant heart of our town centre.
Join us as we take steps toward a more sustainable and thriving community. See you there!

Our Stretford Summer Trail is here to keep the little ones entertained during the summer holidays. Complete the trail and enter the prize draw to win a whole year of family film nights at The Northern Light Cinema Streford.
Come along for a series of free drop-in sessions over the summer holidays, bringing a pop-up playhouse to the museum with a metric tonne of magnetic tiles for little ones to get creative with.
