LOUNGERS OPENING ITS DOORS IN STRETFORD TOWN CENTRE
Loungers have announced plans to open a bespoke café and bar “Fosforo Lounge” on King Street in Stretford town centre.
For this special takeover, Carson Wolfe - an internationally award-winning poet born and raised in Gorse Hill, Stretford - brings a day of poetry, performance and storytelling to the museum.
On Saturday 25th July, Carson Wolfe will be bringing an inspiring day of poetry to, all inspired by Stretford.
Poetry Workshop | 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Open to anyone in Trafford, this creative writing workshop invites you to explore the places you call home through poetry. Together you'll read and unpack place poems before using prompts from Carson to create your own work, with a focus on dialect, imagery and storytelling.

The day rounds off with an evening of live poetry featuring local headliners, alongside an open mic celebrating some of Stretford's finest voices.
