Coming up next at The Unofficial Stretford Museum, The Rhubarb Club are bringing their live podcast to Stretford.
Born, raised and based in Stretford, The Rhubarb Club is all about helping women be heard and campaigning for better. This vibrant local community group provide a welcoming and empowering space for women through connection, shared learning, and lively discussion.
The podcast session will explore hate crime and its impact on women across Stretford and the wider Trafford community, creating space for honest conversation, shared experiences and questions from the audience.
Expect a live podcast recording, audience Q&A and a special rhubarb cocktail from Stretford Canteen, all set within a space designed to reflect the reality of the campaign, with stories, photos, facts and figures bringing the topic to life.
The event is on Thursday 10th September from 6-8pm at The Unofficial Stretford Museum, doors close once podcast goes live.
Entry is free and walk in. Cocktails will be available for purchase from Stretford Canteen to be taken to the Museum.
