Stretford town centre is inviting visitors of all ages to experience Christmas on King Street this festive season, with Stretford town centre’s very own festive pup-up pub coming to Sunday 14th December 2025.
Visitors from across the community will step into a town centre full of Christmas cheer and festivities, with a giant inflatable festive Yuletide Inn opening its doors on King Street. Running from 12-6pm and complete with roaming elves, all-day music, hot chocolates from A Few Scoops (both boozy and regular) and delicious, warming food from the likes of The Curry Den, Bakehouse32 and Jamin on the Rox, it’s the perfect place to settle down with a festive tipple and soak up the merry vibes with the whole family.
There will also be a host of festive stalls run by local businesses coming to King Street, including Beatties Bakery, Stretford in Bloom, Urban Preserver, DLC Gifts and Debz D-Litez for visitors to browse their fantastic range of festive baked goods, homemade jams and chutneys, handmade scented soy candles and more under the high street’s glowing festive lights. There will be Christmas colouring sheets and festive photo opportunities with a professional photographer to enjoy too.
Home to a range of national and independent brands, Stretford town centre is the perfect place to spend an afternoon Christmas shopping or grabbing a festive bite to eat. The opening of King Street, Pinnington Lane and Sir Tony Lloyd Square in August 2025 means that visitors can make the most of a brand new public realm this festive season with the whole community.
